Eugenia Kendall has her Master’s in Social Work from St. Ambrose University, a B.A. in Psychology from University of Northern Iowa and has worked within the aging field for 24 years now. She worked as a community building manager at United Way of East Central Iowa for 13 years where she lead a group of volunteers in making funding decisions within the area of health and aging. Then worked as senior program manager at Heritage Area Agency on Aging where she provided program oversight and managed community outreach for seven years. She has worked in her current position as the strategic planning and assessment coordinator with the HHS Division of Aging and Disability Services going on four years. Within this position she coordinates the development of Iowa’s State Plan on Aging, the development and review of six Area Plans on Aging, and the development of Iowa’s first Multisector Plan on Aging.
Liz Fridley is the Health Promotion Director for the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services Division of Aging and Disability Services and the Nutrition and Aging Resource Center. As a registered dietitian, she supports the aging network in the delivery of Older Americans Act nutrition education and nutrition counseling services as well as evidence-based and non evidence-based health promotion programming. She currently serves as co-chair of the Iowa Falls Prevention Coalition. Prior to this role, Liz worked as an outpatient hemodialysis dietitian and in long term care.
He serves as the Medical Director for GUIDE by CMS, Site PI for the University of Iowa GWEP, and Board Member of the Iowa Alzheimer’s chapter.

Milestones Area Agency On Aging provides programs and services to help older Iowans live safely and independently at home. Programs for older Iowans include nutrition, information and assistance programs, caregiver support programs, health promotion, and elder abuse prevention. Milestones’ planning and service coverage area includes 17 counties in Iowa: Appanoose, Clinton, Davis, Des Moines, Henry, Jefferson, Keokuk, Lee, Louisa, Lucas, Mahaska, Monroe, Muscatine, Scott, Van Buren, Wapello and Wayne.
April started her career with Iowa Vocational Rehabilitation in 2006 working with individuals with disabilities to reach their employment goals. In the course of her career she has worked directly with individuals in high school, college students, individuals with newly disabling conditions, and elderly workers all looking for support to move forward with their current goals. April currently works as the Training Resource Manager with IVRS providing and arranging training in numerous areas to enhance the services to individuals with disabilities in Iowa.
